In a recent turn of events unfolding in the global crane market, the UAE-based Italian company Raimondi Cranes and its French agent GP Mat International will be displaying two of their next-generation cranes at the Intermat 2018 in Paris. According to sources, visitors of the event will be able to see the Raimondi LR330 that was recently launched in February and the new Raimondi MRT234 equipped with an elevator.
Reports reveal that Intermat Paris, which is slated to be held in the month of April, will attract more than 1,500 exhibitors from four main sectors comprising roads, minerals and foundation, earthmoving and demolition, buildings and concrete, and handling, lifting, and transportation. For the record, in the past, the triennial gathering has welcomed more than 183,000 visitors from more than 167 countries and is now being considered as one of the world’s largest equipment events besides ConExpo in the U.S. and Bauma in Germany.
If industry experts are to be believed, the demonstration of two new crane models is in turn expected to favor the crane market players to stay abreast of the latest technological advancements in this industry. Growing overall awareness toward technology is expected to better mitigate the challenges related to project management techniques, weak infrastructure, and non-availability of trained employees. Moreover, the growing proliferation of mobile connectivity and internet have been the prime factors that have bolstered crane market growth, claim analysts.
Frank Torchard, president of GP MAT International was quoted stating that participating in the Intermat 2018 in partnership with Raimondi Cranes will allow them to present the latest solutions in the crane market. He further added that their activity at the French exhibition will further endeavor the company to showcase both GP MAT’s fleet capabilities & effectiveness and introduce Raimondi products to other new customers and heavy machinery enthusiasts.
