LG Electronics, a renowned South Korea based electronics firm, has recently announced its premium lineup of audio devices that would reportedly reshape the perception of the overall smart speaker market. The new range of products would be on display at the International Consumer Electronics Show 2018, which is slated to commence on January 9th. As per authentic reports, the company is set to unveil its first smart AI audio product LG ThinQ Speaker, which not only produces excellent sound but comes embedded with Google Assistant. The company has collaborated with Google to ensure that the latest speaker provides all the comforts that come with owning a digital assistant.

Furthermore, LG’s speaker has been reported to possess a personalized voice-activated interface for the firm’s smart home products. Apparently, the speaker would be able to monitor innumerable devices manufactured by various electronics firms including LG’s own ThinQ smart home devices, which is quite an interesting phenomenon in the smart speaker industry. For the record, LG’s ThinQ appliances include smart lamps, robotic vacuums, door locks, sound bars, refrigerators, thermostats, and washing machines.

The annual trade show is also likely to witness LG’s new range of soundbars and portable Bluetooth speakers. Reportedly, the company teamed up with Meridian Audio to manufacture a new Dolby Atmos SK10Y soundbar which has been equipped with innovative audio enhancement properties designed to deliver an unparalleled listening experience. Meridian Audio, regarded as the pioneer of Digital Signal Processing and an authority in the field of psychoacoustics, armed the SK10Y with its Bass and Space technology that ensures rich and unmatched sound to its listeners. The latest soundbar is reportedly compatible with high-quality audio files which enables it to seamlessly recreate the sound recorded in the studio.

According to industry experts, LG has acquired a prominent place in smart speaker market, given that it started selling a speaker with built-in Alexa in the year 2016.
