Biggest tornadoes ever recorded

The world is full of wonders, but it can also be full of dangers. 1989 The Daulatpur-Salturia Tornado

It was this tornado that killed more than 1300 people and around 12000 were injured by it. It attacked many regions in Bangladesh and it left only chaos and destruction in its path. According to numerous sources, this one was around a mile in width and it rendered 80000 homeless due to the high damage that it created at that time.

The 1969 East Pakistan Tornado

When this tornado hit, it killed around 660 people and around 4000 were injured. It was the second deadliest tornado in history since it also hit Bangladesh where it also claimed 223 lives. In total, it killed 883 persons in roughly the same day.

1996 Madarganj to Mirzapur Tornado

Another Bangladesh tornado. This one killed 700 people in total and it damaged no less than 30000 homes in total. It clearly shows that while damage can be eliminated, there’s no denying that constant damage will remain for a very long time in this sort of situations.

1925 Tri-State Tornado

The 1925 Tri-State Tornado is one of the many US tornadoes that hit in the past 100 years. This one was very devastating as it killed around 750 people and it attacked states like Indiana, Illinois and Missouri.

1973 Manikganj, Singair and Nawabganj Tornado

Yes, this is another tornado from Bangladesh. This particular tornado wiped many towns in its path and it led to a death toll of around 681 people. It clearly shows that Bangladesh is not a safe place to be if you want to encounter beautiful regions and locations.
1951/1956 Valetta Tornado
The 1951/1956 Valetta Tornado occurred two times and it killed 600 lives in total. It was one of the largest tornadoes to ever occur in the entire history of Malta, that’s a given.

1851 Sicily Tornado

Italy was also home to one of the major tornadoes in the past 200 years. According to numerous sources, this particular tornado killed more than 500 people and it split in two, which caused even more damage than expected.

1951 Comoro Tornado

The Comoros archipelagoes located at the coast of Africa were also attacked by a deadly tornado in 1951. This particular twister had a massive intensity and it did bring in front a very challenging time. It killed 500 people in total.
