Allot’s Network Secure to protect mobile users in Europe from threats

Israel’s leading provider of innovative security solutions and network intelligence for enterprises and communication service providers, Allot Ltd., has recently announced that the NetworkSecure solution of the company has been selected by a Tier 1 European mobile service provider for protecting the latter’s mobile users against rising threats, including ransomware, phishing, malware, and crypto-mining.

A news release posted on Proactive Investors cited that Allot’s security as a service would be provided to approx. 2.5 million subscribers of the European mobile service provider. Revenue generated from the customers who opt for the subscription of this security solution would be shared between the two companies.

Reportedly, a part of the AllotSecure product suite, NetworkSecure is a market leader in the expanding network-based, mass-market cybersecurity category, which protects over 21 million mobile users across the globe. The NetworkSecure solution, which is in compliance with GDPR, has been proven to achieve up to 50 per cent penetration, along with the consumer marketing suite of Allot.

This solution from Allot purportedly allows the European mobile service provider to offer its customers a security service which would enable parents to apply controls on the mobile devices of their children, without the obligation of downloading and installing anything on the devices. Primarily, the service would be aimed at protecting the users against rising cybersecurity threats.

VP Strategic Accounts, Cyber Security at Allot, Hagay Katz, mentioned that the company has consistently proven its network-based clientless security platform enables service providers to strengthen their differentiation and lift their ARPU. NetworkSecure delivers a smooth, hassle-free user experience, along with being easily integrated to the service provider network.

Katz further said that the goal of the company is not only offering the much-needed security to customers of the Tier 1 European mobile service provider, but also reinforce its business goals by raising penetration by up to 50 per cent in certain markets through Allot’s marketing expertise and engagement tools.
